This consultation is designed as a strategic starting point and professional sounding board. Visual concept boards, detailed layouts and further design development are created during the interior design stage and are not included as part of this service.

If you choose to continue with a full interior design package, the consultation fee can be credited towards your design work.

I start every interior design consultation by asking you to complete a short questionnaire. This helps me understand your style preferences, how you live, what’s working in your home and what isn’t.

It also allows me to focus our consultation time on what matters most to you, so you get the maximum value and clarity from our session together.

Your interior design consultation is a one-to-one session focused on giving you clarity, confidence and professional guidance before making decisions.

During the consultation, we’ll work through whatever you choose to focus on, which may include layout, colour, furniture, finishes or how to bring everything together in a way that works for your home and lifestyle.

Following the consultation, you’ll receive a written summary of what we discussed, including key recommendations and any paint colours, layout ideas or product links referenced during the session.

Final styling once everything is in place, bringing the room together with artwork, accessories and finishing touches so it feels complete and lived in.

Following your initial design consultation, I’ll prepare a detailed design proposal outlining the recommended scope of work, timescales and design fees for your project.

The proposal is either presented via a video call or shared with you to review in your own time, followed by a call to talk everything through and answer any questions.

Once the proposal is agreed, I develop a visual concept board that defines the overall look, feel and direction of your space. This stage brings clarity and cohesion to the design and ensures we’re fully aligned before moving into detailed decisions.

This stage is where the design is fully developed and all key decisions are finalised.

I select the furniture, lighting, artwork and soft furnishings for your space and bring everything together into a cohesive scheme. You’ll see how the chosen pieces work within the room through a visual mood board and a 2D birds-eye furniture layout, showing the actual items specified.

I then manage the sourcing of the selected pieces, coordinating orders so everything is ready to be delivered and installed as part of the wider project.

This stage gives you a clear, well-resolved design that’s ready to be implemented with confidence.

Once the design is finalised and items have been ordered, I support you through the implementation of the scheme to ensure everything comes together as intended.

I coordinate orders with you and remain on hand to answer questions as items arrive, helping you make decisions around placement and final details so the design is implemented smoothly.

Once everything has been delivered, I recommend a site visit to review the space together and ensure the design is working as planned. This can include guidance on final positioning and styling and can be added as a site visit or styling service if you’d like hands-on support at this stage.
