Interior Design Consultation in Oxfordshire
I’m Holly Scott, an award-winning interior designer based in Oxfordshire, and I offer interior design consultations to help homeowners move forward with clarity and confidence.
A consultation gives you expert guidance at the right moment so you can make confident design decisions before committing to furniture, finishes or paint colours.
I offer a two hour interior design consultation for homeowners across Oxfordshire who want professional design advice before making important decisions.
This is often the step that transforms a project from feeling uncertain to having a clear and exciting plan.

How The Consultation Works
The consultation lasts around two hours and takes place in your home or via video call.
Before we meet, you will receive a short design questionnaire. This helps me understand your style preferences, priorities and how you live in your home so we can make the most of our time together.
During the consultation we walk through your space, discuss how you want the room to feel and explore ideas for layout, colour, furniture and styling that will bring your vision to life.
After the consultation you will receive a written summary of the key ideas and recommendations we discussed, along with any paint colours, layout suggestions or product links referenced during the session.
Many clients tell me that this consultation gives them the clarity and confidence they need to move forward with their home, helping them avoid costly mistakes and make decisions with ease.

Common Questions
How long is the consultation?
The consultation lasts around two hours and takes place either in your home or via video call. During this time we explore your space, discuss how you want the room to feel and review ideas for layout, colour, furniture and styling.
Do I need to prepare anything before the consultation?
Before the consultation you will receive a short design questionnaire. This helps me understand your style preferences, priorities and how you live in your home so we can make the most of our time together.
You are also welcome to gather inspiration images or note down any questions you would like to discuss.
Can we discuss more than one room?
Yes. Many clients use the consultation to look at several spaces in their home. We can prioritise the areas where you would like the most guidance and explore ideas for layout, colour and furniture.
What happens after the consultation?
After the consultation you will receive a written summary of the key advice and recommendations we discussed. This may include paint colours, layout suggestions or product links referenced during the session, along with practical next steps so you can move forward with confidence.
Some clients use the consultation guidance to implement the ideas themselves, while others choose to continue working with me through my full interior design service.
Can the consultation lead into a full design service?
Yes. If you decide to continue with a full interior design package, the consultation fee can be credited towards your design work.
