Interior design Process

It's important that we work through the interior design process and the steps together, so that you are happy with the direction of the project and are excited by the final outcome of whichever package you choose.

STEP 01 Questionnaire

I start every project’s interior design process by asking you to fill out a questionnaire. This is so I can get to know you, your family, your needs and wants, also to get an understanding of the project and your style likes and dislikes. You then submit the project fee. 

STEP 02 Consultation

The next step of the interior design process is to have a video call, or in person meeting to discuss your design brief and gather as much information as possible about you and your interiors. Gathering more information about your likes, dislikes, any existing ideas you may have and the overall use and purpose for the space.

STEP 03 Concept development

Following on from our consultation, the next step of the interior design process is a concept board will be produced. A concept board is such an important tool, and portrays the overall feel and inspiration behind the interior. As a designer, I follow this throughout the design process to ensure we stay on track. Once this is complete, I will send it to you for confirmation that you are happy with my vision for you new interior.

STEP 04 Detailed design

This is one of my favourite stages of the interior design process, as you see the design come to life. I Produce a product mood board with all items to go in your new room. This will give a real feel to the room and overall completed look. Floor plans, and shopping-lists will be put together. Depending on which package you have chosen, the project will either end here, or if using the full design service we shall continue to communicate until the interior is complete.
